Bradenton, Florida -- In Manatee County, more than two dozen people turned out Thursday night to protest the county's animal services.

Animal rights advocates gathered outside the county's administration building as commissioners met inside to discuss the budget. Protesters are calling for an overhaul of animal services including new leadership.

Protesters also say Animal Services is not living up to its No Kill pledge claiming four dogs were euthanized this week.
