St. Petersburg, Florida -- More than 12 police cars filled the parking lot at the Gateway Apartments in St. Petersburg after a man was shot and killed.

When police arrived at the apartment complex, they found the body of a 25-year-old man lying outside. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.

According to police, the victim and 34-year-old Lonnie Lee had an argument over excessive noise outside of Lee's apartment. A witness claims Lee punched the victim, knocking him to the ground, before shooting him when he stood up.

Lee reportedly told investigators he shot the victim after he pushed him. Lee is charged with second degree murder.
