Sarasota, Florida -- Several dogs had to be rescued from a crashed van in Sarasota.

The van's driver crashed through the railing of a bridge over a small creek on Shot Club Drive, which led to the vehicle teetering over the side.

Ten dogs used for rehabilitation were inside.

Crews brought in cables to stabilize the van so it wouldn't tumble into the creek.

The woman driving the van said her foot slipped off the brake and accidentally hit the gas.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
