Tampa, Florida -- Successful women share their secrets to empower others while they give back to our community.
The Centre's first Women's Leadership Luncheon will be held Thursday, March 27, from 11:30-1:15 p.m., at Palma Ceia Country Club in South Tampa.
10 News Anchor Heather Van Nest is honored to serve as emcee.
Limited tickets are available. Tickets are $35.00 for members & $45.00 for non-members.
The Centre helps women, girls and families gain skills to become independent and successful in business.
The luncheon allows women to network with each other and hear from an inspirational speaker, Dr. Karen Dunlap. Dunlap will be talking about "Leading into the Wind: Adapting Leadership to the Challenges in the Midst of Change."
Dr. Dunlap is a compelling speaker whose inspiring journey from rural Tennessee to president of one of the world's most prestigious schools of journalism offers lessons in courage, persistence and women's leadership.
The Centre plans to hold quarterly leadership luncheons to offer the community a chance to learn, find transferable ideas for their own businesses and organizations, to network with other women and to be inspired by accomplished role models.
The Centre is a great resource to promote women-owned businesses, women in leadership, women on corporate boards and women in elected office.
Women's Leadership programming is a focus of The Centre's new Helen Gordon Davis Women's Business Centre. It is part of The Centre's mission to help women succeed both personally and professionally.
