St. Petersburg, Fl – Here are some choice events for the week of August 18th.

Kids and adults can fish for learning and just plain fish at the main public library in St. Petersburg. On Saturday, August 23rd there's a free fish-a-thon on Lake Jorgenson behind the library building. The event honors the memory of Dennis Crenshaw, a former high school teacher and advocate for youth outdoor activities.

You can dally and down some at the Dali. Saturday's Liquid Desires Craft Beer Party celebrates Florida breweries. Enjoy craft beers among the famous paintings. Proceeds benefit the museum's education programs.

Art also takes a walk down the runway Saturday at the Dunedin Fine Art Center's Wearable Art Fashion show. It's Tampa Bay's premier mashup of fashion and art.
