Tampa, Florida - The garden at Academy Prep of Tampa received a helping hand from students at the University of Tampa, there to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Thevolunteers worked next to Academy Prep fifth graders, laying downmulch and mixing potting soil into the garden beds.

In May, there will be a luncheon at the schoolso everyone can enjoy all the fresh vegetables planted.

The annual traditionhad 85 studentsworking infour bay area locations, cleaning up and helping give back totheir community.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is organized by the PEACE (People Exploring Active Community Experiences) Volunteer Center.
