On Wednesday, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi joined anchor Allison Kropff on 10 News at Noon to talk about some of the state's big issues, and how her office has handled them.
They discussed Florida's prescription drug monitor program. The funding for the prescription drug monitoring program got attached on a controversial bill that lawmakers didn't pass in Tallahassee, so Bondi's office used $2 million in a settlement to fund the program for another four years.
Also discussed was human trafficking. Bondi and four other attorneys general from around the country visited Mexico City to meet human trafficking victims.
Finally, Bondi and Kropff talked about a new bill aimed at protecting Floridians from identity theft, when businesses are victims of a security breach.
