Pasco County, FL - Two people were airlifted to the hospital as trauma alerts following a head-on collision on County Line Road, near Cypress Creek Road. That's just south of State Road 54 in Pasco County, near the Hillsborough County border.

Initial reports indicated a child was among the injured, but that does not appear to be the case.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Jonathan Antramgarza was driving a Dodge Stratus eastbound on County Line Road when he lost control of the vehicle and drove onto the grass shoulder of the roadway.

The driver reportedly over-corrected and crossed back into the road and struck a Hyundai Santa Fe that was traveling in the other direction. The Santa Fe overturned and fell into a ditch along the side of the road.

Both Antramgarza and the driver of the Santa Fe, Steven Falcon, were airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa

County Line Road was shut down in both directions, until officials reopened it around 9:30 a.m.
