NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WFMY) -- There's nothing like an alligator to greet you coming out of a shopping center! But maybe this alligator has some style hanging around Tanger Outlets in North Charleston.
Yes, the gator shocked more than a few shoppers after they noticed it around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Danielle McAdory said she saw it coming out of the Verizon store.
McAdory said the gator was in the parking lot of a Hardee's Restaurant. According to McAdory, it was about 6 to 7 feet in length.
Police managed to keep the gator from reaching the road.
It was transported to Goose Creek reservoir where it was released.
