PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It's been several years since Batman and Bane dueled in downtown as "The Dark Knight Rises" was filming here in Pittsburgh.
But Batman and Pittsburgh are back in the spotlight.
The entertainment site Vulture also picked it up and by Friday afternoon, it was the most read story on the site.
There's also a picture of the bride and groom posing with the batmobile. And if you look closely, you'll see the groom is new KDKA sports anchor and reporter Rich Walsh.
Rich and his wife Michele were married at St. Paul Cathedral — on the same day crews were filming fight scenes for "The Dark Knight Rises."
Although filming created a bit of a parking issue for the wedding guests, Richie says it made for a great wedding memory.
"It did, it definitely did," he says. "It was something different, something unique."
Richie says production stopped for about 20 minutes while he and his wife posed for photos outside, but they got to pose with the tumbler after a producer heard them ask to take a photo with it.
The couple got to climb inside and take pictures with the car, which was very cool for Richie who grew up loving Batman.
After that, the happy couple left Gotham to go party at their reception at Heinz Field.
