PANAMA CITY, Florida (AP) - A Panama City woman is on a mission to find the owner of a partial set of dentures that were wrapped in a paper towel and left on a camp chair.
Gail Turner says her nephew is a street sweeper for the city. He spotted the chair on Aug. 2 while cleaning the street following the Friday Fest in downtown Panama City.
Turner says her nephew folded up the chair and didn't notice the dentures until the next day.
She told the News Herald of Panama City she hopes to find the owner of the missing dentures. She ran an ad in the newspaper for 10 days and another on Craigslist.
So far, she's only had one response. She got a humorous email from the Craigslist listing asking if it would be possible to swing by to "try them on for size."
