TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami) – Florida State Seminoles fans may want to look away. The Seminoles decided to change the school's logo and it has leaked out early, according to multiple reports.

Tomahawknation.com confirmed Wednesday that the new logo is legitimate. The Orlando Sentinel reported the picture of the new logo was taken by a fan that saw the new logo on a t-shirt that was being sold prematurely at Walmart.

The logo was not supposed to debut until April 11, just before the school's annual spring Garnet & Gold game.

Fans have reacted negatively to the new design which has tilted the Seminole indian head further back and changed the shape of the face and much of the facial features. The previous design had remained unchanged since 1971, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Former Seminoles defensive tackle Darnell Dockett tweeted out his displeasure for the new logo Thursday morning saying, "The new Florida state logo is ugly as *expletive*…Who bright idea was that?"
