DADE CITY-There was an intense battle at Pasco High School Friday, when the Pirates took on the visiting Sunlake Seahawks. In the first quarter it was all about defense as neither team scored.

In the second quarter the Seahawks found the end zone first as Nathan Johnson rumbled in from five yards out. Then later in the quarter the Pirates answered right back with a 45-yard burst from Jakiah Felder to tie things at 7 all.

In the second half, Sunlake pulled ahead on Nathan Johnson's second touchdown, to go up 14-7. Sunlake also added a 39-yard field goal in the 3rd quarter.

In the 4th, Pasco finally found the end zone on a 6 yard reception from Brandon Ray, but it was a case of too little, too late, as Sunlake took this one 17-13.
