Tampa Bay is indeed Rays Nation.
A new interactive map produced by the New York Times shows that the region is solidly dominated by Rays fans. However, Yankee country solidly surrounds the area from the Big Bend and Southwest Florida regions. South Florida is naturally home for Marlins fans, while North Florida is solidly for the Atlanta Braves. Curiously, Florida's Space Coast has a larger percentage of Red Sox fans than the rest of the state.
The data is broken down by ZIP code, and is compiled using aggregated data from people's public profiles on Facebook.
Great shots of Rays Coach Joe Maddon!
