St. Petersburg, FL -- David Price is still scheduled to make the start Wednesday afternoon, his last start before the non-waiver trade deadline at 4 p.m. Thursday.

'It's here. I guess we'll have some answers here in the next couple of days," Price told reporters Tuesday. "We'll see how it goes."

Price has been doing a very good job of focusing on his next start, and just pitching, despite the constant trade questions from the media.

"I just continue to be the same person on the field every day," Price said. "This is what I love to do, and I'm not going to let this stuff get me down, it's no fun. So I just go out here, work hard, try to give my team a chance to win every fifth day. And hopefully it's in a Rays uniform in two starts."

The Boston Red Sox scratched Jon Lester from his scheduled start on Wednesday, but it's not known if that is because of an impending trade.

Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, reported that the Rays are "talking and willing" to trade David Price. Whether they actually do, is another matter.

If they wait until the off-season, it's believed Price's trade value will diminish by 30 percent to 40 percent.
