St. Petersburg, Florida -- The Louisville Cardinals are the defending national champions. Rick Pitino's team cut down the nets last April and are a 4-seed in this year's tournament. Louisville will face 13-seed Manhattan on Thursday afternoon.
Can they win it all again? Someone who picked them as champions last year thinks so.
That prophetic mind, that genius basketball brain, belongs to a not quite three year old toddler named Ava Lewis. She is the daughter of 10 Sports reporter Bobby Lewis who, by the way, did not pick the Cardinals to win the tournament last year.
Basketball brilliance apparently doesn't run in the family. A year ago, Ava picked Louisville over Miami. Her dad, a man who gets paid to watch basketball games, picked Indiana to beat Duke. Neither Duke nor Indiana even made it to the Final Four.
If you are looking to fill out a bracket correctly, look down for advice. The girl who is barely knee-high is at it again. Ava and Bobby picked brackets this morning before the start of the 2014 tournament.
Ava likes Louisville to beat Florida in the championship game. Bobby likes the Gators over the Cardinals. Who will earn family bragging rights this year?
