Tampa, Florida -- Former LSU and Bucs wide receiver Michael Clayton is back in Tampa for a publicity book tour.
Clayton published his first book, "Chasing My Rookie Year: The Michael Clayton Story", an autobiography and inspirational memoir of success on and off the field, in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Clayton just returned from a tour in Baton Rouge and Saturday will be his first Tampa signing. It will be at the Sports Authority in Tampa on Kennedy Boulevard, across from the Westshore Mall.
Clayton says he learned that there are many things in life he needed to accomplish and he hopes readers learn athletes are put on a pedestal and he is showing them he's real and made real mistakes.
Clayton was drafted by the Bucs in 2004 and spent six years with the team until moving on to the New York Giants.
