Tampa, FL-- The Buccaneers' fifth day of training camp and third day in pads got a little testy, and there were two separate scuffles with one involving new center Evan Dietrich-Smith and the other precipitated by linebacker Mason Foster.

JoeBucsFan.com has more on Wednesday's interesting developments.

After practice, Head Coach Lovie Smith said he didn't want his players fighting, but physical play is bound to happen.

"We want it to be as game-like as possible," Smith said. "But if you feel like you have to mix it up with a guy, fight him like you would fight your brother. ... No cheap shots, anything like that. ... And after that, you got to get in for the next play while you're tired, so shouldn't have a lot of that."

Thursday's practice begins at 2 pm., and is open to the public.
