Tampa, FL -- Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop will miss the rest of this week, which is the last week of the regular season. But his status for the playoffs next week, is unknown.
Ben Bishop suffered an upper body injury in the 3-0 win over Toronto Tuesday night. He fell on his left arm, while deflecting a puck in front of the net. He was in immediate pain, and was taken out of the game. Anders Lindback replaced him.
The Lightning have 3 games remaining this week, and Lindback will be the number-1 goalie. The team recalled Syracuse goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis to be the backup. Gudlevskis played Latvia in the Sochi Winter Olympics.
