HOUSTON (KHOU) -- On Thursday night, people all over Texas saw dark, brooding storm clouds.
The storms brought large hail and high winds to many areas, with at least one tornado near Austin.
Hail the size of tennis balls was reported in Abilene. Smaller hail was reported north of Houston.
Texas has experienced a fair amount of inclement weather throughout the past few weeks, but last night's hailstorms took the cake as one of the summer's worst nights for weather.
