Tampa, FL -- Making a batch of brownies can take some time with having to make the mix and then heating the oven to do the baking.
Try It Before You Buy It team member Yvonne Bradley-Reid brought the Nostalgia Brownie Maker into the kitchen to see if it can help save time when it comes to making the delicious snack.
The brownie maker has a non-stick coating that allows you to make eight small brownies at one time. The instruction book comes with recipes, or you can buy box brownie mix which is what Yvonne did. All you do is scoop the mix into the small, partitioned wells, close the lid and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. If you use the box mix it can take up to 7 minutes.
When done you can use the small wood spatula that comes with the kit to remove the cooked brownies. Yvonne found the brownies to be cooked perfectly and great tasting. She gave the Nostalgia Brownie Maker a thumbs up.
The brownie maker can be found at Big Lots for $19. There is a newer version that allows you to not only make brownies, but cookies, cupcakes and more.
