Wheaton, MN - While the National Weather Service was warning people to stay indoors, storm chasers were capturing some great video out of Minnesota.

You can see some of the severe weather developing in this time-lapse video.

Storms chasers recorded what appear to be funnel clouds forming just a few miles east of Wheaton, Minnesota, near the South Dakota state line.

The National Weather Service received reports of a tornado east of Wheaton and another tornado touching down briefly in part of South Dakota.

The wind brought down power lines in parts of western Minnesota and dropped one-inch hail in spots.

Early Monday morning, the area south of Minneapolis was still under a flash flood warning as the storms moved through the Upper Midwest.
