We typically see afternoon showers and storms each afternoon this time of year, but a passing tropical wave is enhancing those storms resulting in heavy rains, winds, lightning and even some hail.  That pattern continues today and tomorrow, finally calming down a bit by Saturday.

The rainy season pattern of SE winds and more typical afternoon storms continues through the weekend and into much of next week.  That brings back the 40% chance for afternoon storms and highs in the low 90s.

Today: Partly sunny skies followed by afternoon storms, some of which will be strong.  Winds will be SE-W 5-10 mph with highs in the upper 80s to near 90.

Tonight: An isolated shower can't be ruled out, otherwise quiet and muggy with lows in the mid 70s with light winds.
