Cloudy, sprinkles this evening, warm Christmas, rain overnight Tuesday-Wednesday midday

Mostly cloudy this evening and scattered sprinkles will be around making for a few wet roads as you do your last minutes shopping, errands, traveling for the Holiday. No severe weather or strong thunderstorms expected, but a few isolated heavier showers are possible tonight.

Decreasing clouds late tonight should give a chance at some early patchy fog for those up with the family around daybreak.

Christmas Day should be a mix of partly to mostly cloudy skies and quite warm with high temperatures in the mid-upper 70's for most. Southerly winds should also start to pick up and make for a more humid and breezy afternoon. Perfect for the young ones enjoying what Santa brought them!

Late Tuesday night there could be a few isolated thunderstorms ahead of the next front that brings the best chance of storms Wednesday.

Wednesday there will be rain/storms likely between daybreak and midday. Mainly scattered showers/storms, but a few stronger thunderstorms are certainly possible as the same system will be expected to produce a severe weather outbreak Christmas Day over Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama before arriving here.

Any rain/clouds will clear out in the late hours of the day Wednesday, and expect cooler and drier weather for your Thursday and Friday.
