GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. (KARE11) - The dogs were barking across Minnesota Thursday morning.
We're talking sun dogs, a weather phenomena that appears on the horizon on frigid winter mornings.
KARE 11's Sven Sundgaard explains it this way: "Sun Dogs Happen when the sunlight passes through ice crystals. The best time to see them is sunrise or sunset."
