Thursday starts off warmer in the mid 50s, but it is gray and rainy in many areas.
The rain will be on and off through early afternoon, but there will be some breaks as the late afternoon wears on. Temperatures will still warm to the upper 60s today with some areas reaching the low 70s. Rain chance is 50% and winds will blow ENE 10 mph.
It will be mild tonight with lows near 60 while Friday promises to be warmer and drier. Rain chance dips to 20% for tomorrow mainly in the afternoon. Highs on Friday will top out near 80!

Meanwhile, much of the country is thawing out after days of record cold temperatures.
New York City could reach the freezing mark today... it's been in the teens since Sunday, when an Arctic air mass took over much of the U.S.
Temperatures will continue to get warmer, especially here in the southeast.
