High pressure to the north of us and the low pressure associated with Ida to our south are combining to continue the breezy conditions across the Bay area today.  Winds will be blowing from the NE - ENE averaging 15-20 mph with higher gusts throughout the day.  Skies will be sunny with a few high clouds streaming in.  Ida has now moved back out over water in the western Caribbean and has regained tropical storm status with 45 mph winds.  It will be headed to the Gulf of Mexico, but cooler waters, wind shear and steering currents should keep the brunt of the storm offshore.

Today: Mostly sunny, breezy and warm.  Winds NE 15-20 mph, High 83;

Tonight:  Partly cloudy to mostly clear and mild.  Winds ENE 10-15 mph.  Low 65.

Sunday:  Partly cloudy skies, continued breezy and warm.  Winds E 15-25 mph, High 84.
