I grew up with six sisters and one brother in a town called Hyde Park on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio. I felt right at home when I found out there is a Hyde Park in South Tampa!
My first job in TV news was in 2011 as the Evening Anchor at the NBC affiliate in Minot, North Dakota. The Midwest wasn't done with me, though, and in 2012 I was called back to Ohio. I was hired as the Morning Traffic Anchor at the FOX/ABC affiliate in Dayton and quickly grew into co-anchor. The traffic bug bit me again in 2014, but this time it brought the sun and sand with it! I am excited to call Tampa Bay my home and be your Morning Traffic Anchor every weekday morning!
When I am not at work, I love being outdoors! From walking on the beach to climbing trees, I can't get enough of nature. I also recently dusted off my violin and started taking lessons again - I am a master at playing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star!" I don't claim to be a foodie, but love trying new restaurants because, let's face it, I just love to eat!
Tampa Bay is filled with seemingly endless activities! I didn't grow up near the water, so I am really excited about paddle boarding and scuba diving. The Floridian architecture is beautiful, but so are the people here. I love the diversity and southern hospitality!
You can watch Hilary every weekday on 10 News This Morning starting at 4:30 a.m.
