Liz Burch is a reporter who has covered several national stories, including the landfall of Hurricane Irma and historic wildfires in Washington State.

Most recently, Liz worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor in Asheville, North Carolina. In her time there, she received multiple EMMY nominations for her general assignment and live reporting.

Prior to working in North Carolina, Liz was an MMJ and producer in Spokane, Washington for three years. In Eastern Washington, she did everything from shooting, editing, and writing her own stories.

Before moving to Spokane, Liz was an intern at KING 5 in Seattle. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Cultures from Washington State University, with a Minor in Communication. Liz speaks Spanish and studied abroad in Barcelona.

When she's not at work, Liz enjoys playing with her rescue mutt, Arrow. She is extremely excited to explore Florida's incredible beaches.
