Just saying the name Pee-Wee Herman is enough to make you smile.
Sure, Paul Reubens has overcome a few obstacles in the past, but he will always be the one and only Pee-Wee.
Pee-Wee’s Playhouse debuted in 1986 and quickly dominated children’s TV programming. It later became a cult classic as those 80s kids grew up.
Now, Paul Reubens is planning to take the stage in Tampa on March 13, 2020. The Tampa Bay Times reports he’ll headline Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure at the Tampa Theatre.
According to the Gainesville Sun, he’ll stick around for a Q&A after the show – and tickets range from $34.50 - $399.50.
This will be a homecoming of sorts for Pee-Wee.
Paul Reubens was born in New York but grew up in Sarasota.
