More than 34 million adults in this country have to care for their parents. Author Fern Pessin wrote a book called “I’ll be right there: A guide for adults caring for their aging parents,” and shared several tips Thursday on GDL. The tips include:
1. Assess current status
2. Open communication to create a full plan
3. Five wishes- If X were to happen, how would you want it to be handled
4. Get legal forms completed
5. Pick hospital and display that info throughout the house
