Our community’s teachers need to be supported. Irish 31 neighborhood pubs are rewarding our hardworking teachers and coaches for all of their tireless efforts. Now through April 15, nominations will be accepted for standout teachers within Hillsborough and Pasco Counties. Anyone can submit a nomination by visiting irish31.com/cheers. After April 15, people will be able to vote for their favorite teacher once per day for the duration of the contest. On May 15, 20 teachers will be announced as award recipients, and each will receive $1,000. Owner Jay Mize and teacher, and former winner, Myaicia Womack stopped by to tell us more.
