We all know how therapeutic pets can be for those who need them, but Humane Education Connection is showing that rescued pooches can make an especially big difference this month in the lives of children who have experienced abuse and neglect, through their program Canines Helping Kids in Crisis. October 27th, they’re throwing the Howl-O-Ween Pet Fest and PAWrade at 3 Daughters Brewing, which will help those dogs find a forever home.
