Palm Harbor, Fl – Clients at X-Force Body have both strong and big hearts.
The Palm Harbor gym has participated in the 10News Cereal for Summer drive for the past two years and its clients have always been very generous with their donations.
Today, one of them really put his muscles and money to good use. Jeffry Stern walked to a nearby Publix and purchased $2,000 worth of cereal and with the help of Publix staff transported it across the parking lot to the gym.
Cases of cereal now line the walls of X-Force, and Stern is challenging other clients to donate to Cereal for Summer too.
“Feeding hungry kids in the summer, I can’t think of a better charity than that. It’s really nice of the people here to contribute as much as they do to the program and I’m very proud to be a part of it,” said Stern.
Gym owner Iliana Stoilova isn’t surprised by Stern’s generosity, calling him “one of the most kind-hearted, sweetest, people I’ve ever known.”
You can donate to Cereal for Summer at many local businesses like X-Force Body, Sonny’s BBQ restaurants, and at the 10News studios through May 11.
