You’ve all heard the expression, ‘It’s better to give than to receive’, and Grant Gilmore and Carolina Leid certainly felt that recently, as they delivered gifts to adult residents at PARC in St. Petersburg.
The gifts, about 50 in all, were donated by 10News staff. Grant and Carolina just got all the fun of seeing the smiles and receiving the hugs in person.
A variety of community groups make PARC’s gift program happen every year.
“The purpose of our gift program is that each client is to get one, or two, or three wishes fulfilled,” explained PARC’s Andrea Castaneda.
