AUSTIN — Two major pop headliners are in to Austin Friday and Saturday to headline the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix race at the Circuit of Americas.

Bruno Mars will take COTA's super stage first on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Mars has been breaking records and taking names with his latest RIAA certified double platinum album "24-K Magic," which has remained in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 for 44 consecutive weeks.

The day after the R&B, funk and pop star blazes the stage, the music industry's international pop princess will close out the weekend with a rundown of her greatest hits on Sunday, Oct. 21.

Britney Spears is set to perform a post-race concert with themes from her "Britney: Piece of Me" tour that is kicking off this summer.

Just like Mars, Spears is an award-winning artist. She broke international record sales with her first hit single "Baby One More Time."

“We’re excited to welcome Bruno Mars and Britney Spears to this year’s United States Grand Prix stage. The pinnacle of motorsports, two global superstar musicians and all of the festive entertainment that comes with the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix defines the weekend as the greatest sports and entertainment celebration of the year. We are proud to host such an incredible weekend for race and music fans alike," said Bobby Epstein, Founder and Chairman of COTA.
