NOVA SCOTIA, Canada -- Curiosity didn't kill the cat. But, it did take him nearly 750 miles from Dartmouth to Montreal inside a package containing a tire rim.
Victoria Lake's mother, Jacqueline, couldn't find Baloo the cat anywhere after she sent a shipment of rims to Alberta, Canada.
Four days later, she got a call from Purolator, a shipping company.
The curious kitty had crawled into one of the packages, where an employee at a Montreal sorting facility found him.
Volunteers with the group Freedom Drivers took Baloo home, free of charge.
