THONOTOSASSA, Fla. -- You may have tried different yoga poses and locations.

But, have you ever tried combining yoga with goats? The Grady Goat Foundation of Tampa Bay allows you to pet and cuddle goats while doing yoga.

We're not 'kid'ding around, either.

"We have full contact goat yoga here," Founder Debbie Canton said, "If you don't want goats to interact with you, you came to the wrong place."

The foundation hosts goat yoga at Hat Trick Ranch in honor of Grady, a goat born with multiple disabilities that did not allow him to play with other goats at the sanctuary. He was not only blind and deaf, he was also unable to walk on his own.

Debbie recalls, “while other kids are typically up and walking and nursing from their mothers within minutes, Grady could neither stand, nor hold his head up.”

Rob and Debbie Canton, the owners of Grady Goat, did not want to give up on the little guy. Instead, they found inspiration in him as he continued to bring hope to others dealing with disabilities.

Grady passed away at only six months old, but his legacy lives on through the foundation, which 'supports animals and children facing their own physical, mental, or economic adversity.'

Yoga practitioner Leiko 'Koko' Bergers feels a special bond with the organization. The foundation made a donation to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation in honor of her 15-year-old daughter, Jasmine.

"The fact that it goes towards other foundations that help children like Jasmine, it means a lot to me," Koko said, "It gives me a chance to be in the here and now, [goat yoga] has definitely opened up my yoga."

In terms of combining goat and yoga?

"I would say embrace the weird, have a little fun in your life," Koko added.

After every yoga session, Grady Goat offers homemade goat cheese and fresh goat milk fudge, from peppered goat cheese to peanut butter goat milk fudge. Believe me, don't knock it until you've tried it!

The foundation also sells their own coffee mugs, stickers, and tank tops for purchase either before or after the yoga session. They plan to offer the apparel online for purchase as well in the near future.
