BAYBORO HARBOR, Fla. — A manatee family excursion was a rare sight Thursday in Bayboro Harbor.

A female manatee and her twins were making a splash in the harbor and now on social media.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission posted to its Facebook page that seeing manatee twins in Florida is uncommon.

FWC says while it’s possible for healthy manatee moms to support twins, there is not a lot of data on how twins do in the wild.
