A new survey found Wawa has the country’s favorite sandwich.
Market Force Information polled nearly 11,500 consumers to reach that conclusion.
Wawa rose four places to unseat the 2017 sandwich category winner, Firehouse Subs.
Here are the favorite sandwich chains, according to the Market Force survey:

- Firehouse Subs
- Jimmy John’s
- Jason’s Deli
- McAlister’s Deli
- Panera Bread
- Subway
- Arby’s
Market Force’s research reveals the country’s favorite quick-service restaurant chains in five categories: burgers, sandwiches, Mexican, pizza and chicken.
The study taken in April found In-N-Out is America’s favorite burger chain, Chipotle wins for Mexican food, Pizza Ranch takes the award for pizza and Chick-fil-A has the best chicken.
