WEST JORDAN, Utah -- This officer's hours-long call wasn't action-packed or intense, but it might have been one of the most important of his week.

The West Jordan Police Department posted candid pictures of Officer Lofgran during a call detail last week. When a young mother came in with her children to file a domestic violence report, Lofgran watched over the children and held her baby.
