The Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating a supportive network to build the necessary foundation for children to be successful in school and life. The Coalition’s goal is to supply parents and early learning educators with essential opportunities that allow children to reach their full potential. The Coalition ensures that over 13,000 children in Pasco and Hernando counties, aged birth to 12-years, are annually provided with a quality educational foundation. The Coalition is one of 30 Early Learning Coalitions throughout Florida that oversees the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program, a state funded program that is free for all 4-year-olds, and the School Readiness program, a combination of state and federal funds that pay a portion of child care costs for working families with low-to-moderate income levels.
