ST. PETERSBURG, Fla — Black Friday is often seen as the Super Bowl of holiday shopping. But, there's another special day for businesses that caters more to your neighborhood mom and pop shops.
Small Business Saturday emphasizes the importance of shopping local. And, if you're looking for a place to support your favorite shops, look no further than St. Petersburg's Shopapalooza.
More than 300 local businesses will pitch their tents from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, and Sunday, Nov. 28 at Vinoy Park in downtown St. Petersburg. Event organizers say there will be artists, musicians and plenty of food vendors out this weekend.
Admission is free so you'll have plenty of money to shop!
