The group Starting Right, Now helps homeless teens stay and school and reach their goals. And Friday morning started out just right for the group, with a big boost from 10News.

General Manager Mike Rodriguez presented Starting Right, Now with a $10,000 TEGNA Foundation grant.

“Thank you so much on behalf of all the homeless teenagers we serve here in Pinellas,” Dana Whiting from Starting Right, Now told Rodriguez. “We're so excited about what this is going to do for our Pinellas home.”

Stay tuned, early next year 10News will show you how that money is going to improve the living conditions for the kids.

Starting Right, Now has shelters on both sides of the Bay.
