OLDSMAR, Fla. — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is calling the deaths of a man and woman in Oldsmar on Tuesday a murder-suicide.
Deputies went to an apartment on Pine Court near Woodlands Drive after the 52-year-old woman's family became concerned and called 911.
The family said they were unable to contact the woman, and there was a history of domestic violence between her and her boyfriend.
After no one answered the door, deputies forced their way inside and found the bodies of the woman and Benjamin First, 51.
The woman's name is being withheld because her family wants it withheld.
The investigation is continuing.
