SPRING HILL, Fla. — Hernando County deputies are looking for a suspect who they say was armed and robbed a Dollar General store in Spring Hill.
Deputies say a witness saw a white man wearing a black t-shirt, dark-colored jacket with the hood over his head, black shorts and white calf-high socks. The witness told deputies the man came into the store and demanded money from a cashier while implying he had a gun.
The suspect then ran away from the store. Deputies say he might have gotten into a vehicle that was parked nearby.
Detectives believe the suspect may be involved in other recent armed robberies around Central Florida.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Major Case detectives at the Hernando County Sheriff's Office at 352-754-6830.
