Oklahoma teen arrested at Lakeland motel, charged with murder

The teen is charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.

LAKELAND, Fla. – U.S. Marshals have arrested a teenage boy who was wanted for a murder in Oklahoma.

The 14-year-old Tulsa boy has been charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.

“We appreciate all the hard work and dedication provided by our U.S. Marshals' task force," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd Said.

Marshals arrested him Thursday at the America’s Best Motel on Memorial Boulevard.

Authorities booked him into the Polk County Jail, from where he will be extradited back to Oklahoma.
