TAMPA, Fla. — A warrant has been issued for a 31-year-old man suspected of fatally shooting a man in Tampa on Sunday.
Just after 6:30 p.m, deputies were called to an apartment complex on 19th Street North by a report of a shooting. The victim had been taken to AdventHealth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses said the victim had gotten into a fight with a neighbor, who shot him.
Investigators identified the gunman as Kendrick James.
A warrant for second-degree murder with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm has been obtained for James' arrest.
He may be driving a 4-door burgundy Nissan Altima with Florida tag JJQ-K38.
