Tampa police make arrest in T-Mobile burglary, 2nd suspect on the run

Police officers responded to a silent burglary alarm around 12:16 a.m. Thursday at the store at 5035 East Busch Blvd.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department made an arrest in a Thursday morning burglary at a T-Mobile store while a second suspect is on the run.

Police officers responded to a silent burglary alarm around 12:16 a.m. Thursday at the store at 5035 East Busch Blvd.

Officers saw two men try to exit the back of a business next door. Police arrested one man as he attempted to run. The second man escaped police.

The only description police gave of the man on the run is he was wearing dark clothing. He stands between 5-foot 10-inches and 6-feet tall, police say.

Officers determined the two men broke into Ginger Health, which is next to the T-Mobile. Once inside, police say the two men broke into the T-Mobile.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
