HOUSTON — Two motorcyclists were shot after being followed from a club where they were involved in some sort of dispute overnight  

This happened around 12:45 a.m. in the 12000 block of the North Freeway in north Houston.

Houston police responded to a call of a shooting that time and found one of the motorcycle riders had been shot in the side and the other had been shot in the leg.

One of the victims was in surgery overnight, while the other is expected to be okay, police said.

The victims were involved in some sort of argument at a club and were followed, police said. The suspects then opened fire on the riders.

Police did not release a description of the suspects.

The North Freeway was closed heading outbound while police conducted their investigation.
